Agero aims to be Australia’s top commercial office fitout and design company so we can do good in the community. We want to drive the construction industry towards sustainable building practices and do this through social innovation.
A cause close to our hearts
Don Bosco Youth Centre and Hostel (DBYC), located in Sydney Road Brunswick, is a hostel, youth centre and an opportunity shop. It provides students and young people a safe and caring environment to stay and play in. DBYC has significantly impacted the life of Agero’s founder and now we want to give back.
Our 10-year goal is to:
- Renovate and reposition the current Don Bosco Youth Centre for the future
- Raise $1,000,000 investment capital for the Don Bosco Youth Centre Foundation
- Build a new youth centre in Melbourne
So far, Agero has created several charitable campaigns for DBYC:
- Christmas gift donations
- Charitable auctions
- Make good, stripout and demolition recycling
MAKE GOOD TO DO GOOD
As part of our make good and stripout services Sustainable Stripout aims to divert a minimum 70% of office waste from landfill at no extra cost to your business.
Following closely with social procurement guidelines, when you partner with us for your make good and stripout, we’ll donate 100% of our make good profits to a charity of your choice, or you can support us in raising funds to build a new Youth Centre.
We work closely with businesses to contribute back to charities close to their hearts, and have raised money for Don Bosco Youth Centre and other charities such as TLC for Kids, RSPCA, The Lost Dogs Home, Dementia Australia, Headspace and Care Australia.
